The Radyr Drama Society was formed in 1982 by a group of enthusiasts living in Radyr and Morganstown. They performed their first play – ‘All in Good Time‘ by Bill Naughton – in May the following year. The group thrives entirely on the goodwill, hard work and support of its members, helpers and audiences.
Our November 2026 production will be Moriarty written by Ken Ludwig.
Dates for our audition evenings will be announced here and on our social media platforms.

This is an incredibly exciting play for actors. One performer plays Sherlock Holmes, another Dr. Watson, while just 3 or 4 other actors transform into around 30 unforgettable characters between them—with lightning-fast costume changes, plenty of laughs, and even a scene-stealing dog called Toby!
Whether you’re an experienced performer or have always fancied giving acting a try, we’d love to welcome you. Radyr Drama Society is a friendly, supportive group where everyone is encouraged to get involved, both on stage and behind the scenes.
So… are you ready to match wits with the world’s greatest detective?
